Absolutely welcome, hon! From my personal opinion, I like this image better not only 'cause of the more realistic lighting and that I don't see anything wrong with any surfaces, but personally I don't care much for fantasy or images with texture backgrounds lol. While some texture backgrounds can be awesome, most simply look cheap the way people render (or post work) them 'cause of the light differences. That's more on the personal taste though since my taste is more realism/naturalism.
Good girl on the ambient!! Well, it's more of a IG scene with more proper set up lights 'cause there's no way of loading shadowless mesh lights or lights with too harsh of shadows haha And actually, the credit goes to omnifreaker for creating the lights, IG just created scenes with them with some background props(I believe) probably with different colors and strength.
Just now bought her first lightset to test, didn't know it was 50% off, so I took advantage lol.
Actually the second light set's only 30% off, and I can't really afford to grab both, there are other things I wanted to grab, but I grabbed this set 'cause I reeeeeeally wanted to see exactly what all the hoot's about. So far? I'm very happy!! The props are great (set up locations) for a photo studio, and this is a great light set up. I've looked into all the settings and now I know where I was going wrong (and I'm not gonna go through and explain LOL). The result of my first render? STUNNING! Can't believe I found something better then Linear light/UberEnvironment (so far). Yes, if you don't know how to set up studio type lighting, I do highly recommend this set Better if you learn the UberArea, but this set helps you learn
Learning the AreaLight, now I can make a new sun/moon setup lol
Only 30% even with the discounts going on for Platinum members? LOl doesn't matter if you got what you wanted from this set. So let's see the first render. Come on Wolfie, don't hold out. LOL you'd better start giving more lessons Pita teacher your' way too far ahead of the rest of us
Hmm I like them, do you need them? Not sure I never really used the first set so.. I'm not a good judge. I think in the forum talk about them, he lists the difs? Hurry and let me know when the shots done
