Jenifer has the quality of looking like someone I know but can't place, even though I know that I don't know her, and I think fostering that kind of intimacy between a work of art and the onlooker is an impressive feat.
I'm glad that you took it that way since that was my intent. It's obvious that you have great technical skills, but you also have the eye (and hands) of an artist who pays close attention to all details, large and small, and each of your pieces resonate, holistically, with that same artistic sense. I'm biased, of course, as we all are. I appreciate far more work than I am moved by a small collection of it, and the "affect" that I seek when I look a work of art is present within the body of yours. You have many talented and accomplished peers here at dA but there are only a few of you who hit me in the gut almost every time that I click your thumbnails. Thanks again for sharing your work here.
It's excellent! The stones are so life-like and the expression of the model is natural too. Regarding the dress, I have always dreamt of trying her out, so seeing the results of somebody other's job is very cool. Very well done!
It just feels great to be a "veteran" here lol And of course, you do deserve the credit, you took lessons very well, tore them apart, studied them, asked questions, and learned the concept, as well as tested them in fire (like testing gold). What a fine student I have, the very best!
